Design Note: The director’s vision for this show is that art is defiance. Antigone’s defiance of Creon’s order was to be underscored by the character’s painting throughout the show. Our director created a love letter to the arts, featuring painting, dancing, and acting. To keep with this theme, the show’s costumes were modernized, and the set was to resemble an art gallery.

This show was designed using the actor’s own clothes and local thrift stores, with inspiration and approval given my the costume designer.
