The Cookoo Clock

Atop the scaffolding at the back of the theatre sat a cuckoo clock, an homage to the tick tock crocodile as well as the reoccurring theme of time throughout the show.

The clock hands were moved throughout the show to indicate the passage of time, and the doors at the bottom of the clock were used as an entrance onto the scaffolding.

On either side of the clock were curtains of book pages and foliage to help bring a whimsical story book feeling to the set. The clock itself was lined with trees to give it a more cohesive look and the illusion of a fort.

The Ship

In the upstage right corner sat a platform with a beached ship facade. This platform was used for blocking and dancing, with the ship adding to the fantasy feel of the show.

A ship’s wheel used throughout the show, constructed in house.
